Country Walk Magazine Feature
It is so great to see a fantastic write- up about Mother & Nature and myself in Country Walking Magazine!
The publication did a feature on the launch of the company and how and why it all began.
Mother & Nature is the UK’s first range of outdoor maternity wear. It is designed in such a way that it will expand and grow with your bump, then you can alter the expandable panels and you can carry on wearing it after pregnancy!

Lancashire Life Feature
As a Lancashire business, we are all really proud to be featured in Lancashire Life.
It is a very iconic magazine which I’m sure most people in the county would recognise. It charts the story of Samantha Jenkins, the founder of the company and how Mother & Nature started. Its a great insight into one of the most innovative things to hit the maternity wear market in years!

Julia Bradbury Outdoor Guide
Mother & Nature are extremely proud to be featured in Julia Bradbury’s Outdoor Guide.
The Outdoor Guide (TOG) is a place for people who love the outdoors. You don’t have to be an enthusiast. Maybe you’re just someone who enjoys hiking, or taking the family camping for the odd weekend. Or perhaps you like ambling around quaint villages, enjoy good country pubs or cycling through picturesque scenery. TOG is a curated site that aims to pull together all sorts of information and material that’s outdoor related, all under one sky. From gear to news about walking festivals, the latest information from the National Trust, tree planting initiatives, forest adventures with the kids and lots more.
They’re not in competition with anyone or trying to sell you stuff (although there is some cool gear in the TOG shop, including Mother & Nature). It’s about sharing our stories, outdoor intelligence and knowledge. In time they want the community to grow and to start sharing with each other too. So have a look and get involved.
There is such fantastic content on the TOG website, walks, places to eat and stay, and great gear to do it all in.
Mother & Nature is the unique outdoor maternity wear range featured on the the website for anyone pregnant and getting outdoors, whether walking, camping, taking the kids out for the day. Our range will keep Mother-to-be and bump warm and dry in gear that can be worn during and after pregnancy. Here’s an example of a low level walk featured on the website;
We had a great time at the Keswick Mountain Festival 2016!
I’ve never been to an event with such an exceptional setting, with such a beautiful backdrop of Catbells, Borrowdale Valley and Derwent Water, it really was stunning.
We had a great time talking to lots of prospective customers and show casing our products, which were received very well, and some fantastic feedback. All of it made that much better with lots of fantastic stall holders around us;
- The RSPB (which I signed up to) doing some great work raising awareness
- Ascendancy Apparel – with a fantastic range of t-shirts, hoodies & ruck-sacks
- Bespoke Diaries – with great personalised diaries, pads, key rings (yes I got one)
- Canvas & Cotton – fanstic mens & womens clothing
- Bernie Bumm with the hottest sauces, and 1 mild one (which I bought)
- University of Cumbria
Having a great crowd around really made the weekend fly by.
Here’s a few pictures which really don’t do the event justice! Looking forward to next year!
children’s ramble for Children in Need!
Mother & Nature organised and hosted a children’s ramble for Children in Need!
This has been part of the Countryfile Ramble for Children in Need, which is an annual event. Countryfile host their own ramble’s covering various parts of the UK, and the public are encouraged to host their own.
We decided it would be great to get the kids involved and make it a children’s ramble for Children in Need!
We met at Rivington in Lancashire and rambled to the top of Rivington Pike, and back down again, finishing at the Barn Cafe for (much deserved) coffee, cake & ice-cream!
Sponsorship money is still to be collected, so we are yet unsure of the amount raised, but it will all be going to a good cause.
Here are a few pics from the day 🙂
